Pernilla Ellens is a curator and editor with a great love for the handmade book. She learned the trade at Onomatopee, where she was a city curator and published a number of books on, among other things, feminism in contemporary design, black metal and motherhood and the post-butt.

Since 2018 she has been running the nomadic art platform Wallpace and the bookstore Blitz Books. Blitz Books deals in artist publications and sells and publishes anarchist, feminist and society-critical zines, from Deleuze to Dode Haan. In all her projects, with a critical view Pernilla tries to place footnotes on our existing systems and to make space for the unexpected, the subversive and the alternative. She loves fringe topics and edgy aesthetics, and strives to always combine theory and praxis.

Pernilla organizes art exhibitions and events through the nomadic platform Wallspace. She curates a selection of ‘Situations’ which take place at various locations in Eindhoven – from oct 2019 to june 2020 – supported by Mondriaan Fonds.
